Holiday Make-Up Product Swap | Beauty

As the holidays come to an end, I have collaborated with a friend and fellow blogger for a beauty product swap! Erricka reached out to me to see if I would like to do a swap in which we choose the number of products to swap out and we send them to each other. We decided we would send each other our favorite drugstore products limited to eyeshadow, a dark lipstick, concealer, and setting powder! We will also do a natural hair tutorial video soon!

New Beauty Finds

I need to do a no makeup challenge one of these months. I always manage to buy some makeup product when I visit any retail store. I recently purchased some highly talked about drug store products and I wanted to share my thoughts.

When it comes to foundation I was hesitant to try , coming from a drugstore. My first foundations that I ever purchased were Nars ($45) and Mac ($40) and I love both. This foundation was a solid $8, I love the dewy finish especially for my combination skin.

Maybelline Better Skin Concealer +corrector, $9. It is a medium coverage product. As far as concealers I love the Mac Prolongwear Concealer and the Nars Creamy Radiance Concealer. I tried E.L.F. concealer and I returned it.

Maybelline Loose Powder, $10 . my holy grail is the Laura Marcier Translucent Setting Powder which is $25 for a mini and $45 for the large size. So far so good, it holds the concealer in place and it doesn’t give flashback in photos. I like the natural tone it gives.

Maybelline Master Prime Face Studio $11. When it comes to primer I don’t like to spend a lot of money. Forever I’ve used NYX Photo-lovin primer. But this master primer definitely keeps my skin moisturized and my foundation doesn’t slip.

Wet n Wild Baked Highlighter Sand-Gria Castles, $5. I’m not really a fan of baked based products. I would recommend spraying with setting spray then applying with your finger or fan brush. This doesn’t show as much as I would like it to, I tend to pair this with another highlighter.
